Amanda Sampaio Bova For Orange County Judge

I want to serve as county court judge so that I can use my breadth of legal knowledge and years of experience to serve the community where I was born and raised. My goal is to do everything I can to ensure that the courtroom is a place of fairness and equity, and to uphold the notion that the courts belong to the people. I believe that when we treat people with respect and fairness, we build trust and confidence in our justice system, and that small acts of patience and understanding can provide assurance to both intimidated first-time litigants and also repeat users of the legal system. I would strive to maximize innovation in a way that makes the court system user-friendly and efficient. Lastly I would seek to ensure that criminal sentences are structured in such a way to prevent recidivism and give people the guidance they need to reform their lives and become productive members of society.
